Somerville
Center Antiques - Open now for seventeen years!
On February
4th, 1994 Somerville Center Antiques opened its doors with
ten dealers, in its first center located at 17 Division Street
in Somerville. In 17 years, that ten dealers grew to over
200 multi-dealer shops in multiple centers with over half
a dozen specialty sections and is New Jersey's largest antiques
complex. Each center is very different, each specializing
in a distinctive era and style of antiques and collectibles.
It's
not just treasure hunters who make their way to Somerville
Center Antiques to explore the multiple shops filled with
unique items. The center is also the destination of choice
for those in search of movie props, New York City editors,
stylists, decorators and designers. Over the last several
years, each of the centers has contributed to making the complex
a favorite for editors of Martha Stewart's many wonderful
publications. The center has also provided many props for
over 100 sets in recent productions at local theaters as well
as movies including "Autumn in New York", starring
Richard Gere; "Riding in Cars with Boys", starring
Drew Barrymore; and the critically acclaimed "Far From
Heaven" starring Dennis Quaid.
As Somerville
Center Antiques makes its way through its 17th year, its goals
and focuses remain on customer service and supplying the best
value to our buyers. Come visit and enjoy downtown Somerville,
as well as the many antique shops and centers, over 60 restaurants
and specialty stores.
